Over the years I've done several insectuous art projects..starting with my portfolio for art college and more recently with students in my art classes. Zooming in on a tiny creature and imagining the world they see, investigating their complex and often strange looking parts is wonderful for children and any creative project. I do a "fantasy insect" project where students invent their own species and make it in 3D.
As part of a project for theminutes, I added antennae to everday household objects and photographed them. Now I want to develop the project and bring it outside my house..into the street, parks, other peoples homes, etc.
